Thomas Bangalter, one half of Daft Punk, has expressed disinterest in AI for music creation and reflected on the challenges of scoring Tron: Legacy, describing the experience as limiting and depressing. Meanwhile, a 2026-27 world tour titled Daft Funk Live will celebrate the duo's legacy, and new creative works inspired by Daft Punk continue to emerge, including a video by Midnight Generation and concept sketches from 2005. Guy-Man, another member of the duo, has also signed a production for the upcoming GTA VI album.
