Ed Sheeran's US stadium tour faced disruptions due to severe weather, leading to the cancellation of his Gillette Stadium concerts. The tour also became embroiled in controversy after rapper Macklemore was removed, prompting backlash, allegations from Sheeran's cousin, and public commentary from figures like Bono, Charlotte Church, and artists Aaron Rowe and MUNA, while Macklemore announced a Free Palestine tour. Sheeran has since spoken out on the situation in Gaza, amid broader discussions about the role of live music in social activism.
