Fat Joe is facing renewed scrutiny over past remarks and recent controversies, including allegations tied to O.J. Simpson, use of racial slurs, and legal disputes involving his former hypeman and a high-profile lawsuit. Amid these developments, he has also drawn attention for defending R. Kelly and addressing claims about his contributions to other artists' work. Outside of the controversies, Fat Joe has been recognized for humanitarian efforts, including sending 100 tons of aid to earthquake victims in Colombia.
