Masicka remains a prominent figure in the dancehall scene, highlighted by his inclusion among contenders for the 2027 Grammy Best Reggae Album alongside Vybz Kartel and Chronixx, and recognition by Spotify’s 'Frequency' magazine as 'The Future of Dancehall'. He is also preparing for the December 19 Forever1NE Music Festival in Portmore, while facing a federal copyright lawsuit from Melissa Mais, who alleges she co-wrote four of his songs, and responding to a diss track from Skillibeng. His album 'Forever Reign' continues to perform well, ranking at No. 9 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.
