Meek Mill has made several public statements on music industry challenges, including claims that streaming has set the industry back by a decade and that he could sell out major venues with limited promotion. His ongoing public dispute with DJ Akademiks has intensified following the acquittal of Lil Durk in a murder-for-hire trial, with both figures exchanging accusations on social media. Meanwhile, Meek Mill released the song 'Philly Heathens' and interpolated 'Am I Wrong' by Nico & Vinz in a recent track.
