The Supremes, a pioneering Motown group, continue to be celebrated on the 60th anniversary of their album 'The Supremes A' Go-Go' and the 60th anniversary of their first number-one hit in 1964. Diana Ross, a founding member and key songwriter for the group and other artists, was born 81 years ago in Ohio. Florence Ballard, another original member, is also remembered on her birthday.
