Dark wave releases, week 42

This week in dark wave, new releases span haunting visuals and sonic experimentation, from Night Nail's 'Passion Squad' and Shadows Hold's 'Not Much to Say' to IAMTHESHADOW's 'Bending Time' on Cold Transmission. Grimes reveals 'Accelerando' from her upcoming Psy Opera, inspired by AI yet crafted by hand, while In Strict Confidence delivers the brooding 'Fever'. The genre's evolving landscape is further highlighted by a striking video from This Eternal Decay and a collaborative spotlight on artists like Soraya Cinema and Mouth Ulcers, whose vampire-themed 'Lady Rust' features Rosie Garland of The March Violets.
