Downtempo releases, week 38

This week in downtempo, new releases and archival highlights converge, featuring Fred Again.. and LATIN MAFIA’s collaborative DJ set from Mexico City, Goldie’s official video for a reimagined 'Jungle Daze,' and Bonobo’s announcement of the track 'Distance in Static.' Artists like FKJ, Mildred, and ALLKNIGHT introduce fresh material, while Above & Beyond expand their chill-focused series with the 'Anjuna:Chilled 01' compilation. Notable retrospectives include DJ Shadow’s 20th anniversary release of 'The Outsider' and the enduring legacy of Massive Attack’s 'Teardrop,' contextualized by the influence of Jeff Buckley’s passing.
