Downtempo releases, week 40

This week in downtempo, artists explore emotional depth and sonic texture through intimate collaborations and atmospheric reinterpretations. From .multibeat’s balanced groove on 'Hold Me Down' to Mishaal Tamer’s hazy rework of 'GET OUT', the genre continues to evolve with subtle, immersive soundscapes. New tracks by Bonobo, Makzo, and IONA blend ambient layers with human touch, while archival moments like DJ Shadow’s milestone release and Adam Beyer & KASIA’s Drumcode tribute highlight the genre’s enduring legacy.
