Folk pop releases, week 44

This week in folk pop, standout releases include Glen Hansard's posthumous cover of 'Bottle of Smoke' and Josh Rouse's forthcoming album Museums and Women, alongside Caroline Rose's latest exploration of a stark, unvarnished world. Olivia Rodrigo returns to the top of the Billboard 200 with a reissued version of her emotional track, while Gracie Abrams deepens her introspective narrative with 'Daughter From Hell' Deluxe. New singles from Emily Anderson and Santana featuring Natalia Lafourcade add reflective and collaborative layers to the genre's evolving sound.
