Hardcore punk releases, week 39

September 21 to September 27, 2026 · 14 releases

This week in hardcore punk, archival material from Bad Brains' early 1979 sessions surfaces, offering a glimpse into the genre's foundational energy. New projects emerge, including a collaboration between Tom Morello, Serj Tankian, Kneecap, and Beartooth, while BRAT and NOWHERE2RUN unveil their latest albums, 'Manslayer' and 'Bloodrave II'. Meanwhile, reissues and retrospectives highlight enduring influences, from the Descendents' 1990s landmark to the 20th anniversary of Gallows' 'Orchestra of Wolves'.
