Honky tonk releases, week 43
· 5 releases
This week's honky tonk highlights include a reimagined 'Jolene' by Bad Wolves featuring Dolly Parton's vocals, reflecting on the enduring legacy of her songwriting. The release ties into broader reflections on Parton's roots, as seen in her autobiographical 'Coat of Many Colors'. Meanwhile, archival Hank Williams recordings from 1949 are revisited for their lasting influence on country music. New voices emerge as well, with Zach Bryan's unexpected rise and Zach Top confirming a spring 2027 album.
