Overview

Recent developments in the honky tonk genre include the reissue of Loretta Lynn's 'Van Lear Rose' and Dolly Parton's posthumous video tribute at a music educators' awards show. Parton also shares final reflections with the Broadway team behind her musical, while her estate is listed for sale and she is set to be portrayed in an upcoming biopic. Meanwhile, tributes honor past legends such as the late country multi-instrumentalist and Buck Owens protege, and Roger Miller receives a new exhibit at the Country Hall of Fame.
