Overview

Recent developments in the new romantic genre highlight anniversary celebrations for key acts and albums, including the 45th anniversary of Adam Ant's 'Prince Charming' and Depeche Mode's 'Speak & Spell', alongside live performances and reimaginings by Nouvelle Vague and Nick Valensi with Duran Duran. Tributes to figures like Simon Le Bon and Midge Ure, along with deluxe reissues such as Bryan Ferry's 'For Your Pleasure', underscore a renewed interest in the genre's legacy.
