Opera releases, week 38

This week's opera highlights include a new single by Falling In Reverse featuring Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian, a revival of Wagner's Götterdämmerung at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, and a fresh staging of Rossini's Le Barbier de Séville at the Bastille. Porgy and Bess returns in a semi-staged version at the Philharmonie, while Chouchane Siranossian and the {oh!} Orkiestra explore the works of Janiewicz and Mozart. Camille Thomas releases a cello-focused album dedicated to Philip Glass, and the bicentenary of Rossini's Ivanhoé is marked with a commemorative performance.
