Psychedelic rock releases, week 42

October 12 to October 18, 2026 · 30 releases

This week in psychedelic rock, new creative collaborations and archival releases highlight a rich tapestry of sonic exploration. Justice teams up with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard for a score tied to Grand Theft Auto VI, while legacy acts like Pink Floyd and The Doors mark significant anniversaries with restored footage and reissued material. Emerging artists such as LORD VELVET, Birdstone, and Teonanácatl introduce fresh singles, and reissues of works by Butthole Surfers, Gnod, and Big Thief offer deeper access to underground and historic sounds.
