Psychedelic releases, week 39

This week’s psychedelic music landscape reveals a blend of legacy acts reimagining their spaces and sounds, from Elton John’s London concert venue inspired by Pink Floyd’s Animals to Tame Impala’s chart-topping collaboration with Jennie. New albums from Mandrake Handshake and Dungen signal continued exploration in the genre’s experimental corners, while Tobias Forge’s rumored death metal project and Ghost’s involvement in a horror anthology add layers of intrigue. Meanwhile, remixes from Maceo Plex and Fcukers, alongside releases from Baba Zula, Boris Maurussane, and Robot God, underscore the genre’s evolving textures and cross-genre reach.
