Quiet storm releases, week 38

This week’s quiet storm releases spotlight rare and rediscovered moments from music history, including a long-lost tribute to George Benson featured in a reissued album, and the posthumous release of Maurice White’s final composition by Verdine White. Highlights also include a previously unheard track from Randy Jackson, the youngest Jackson brother, from 1978, and a standout ballad from Earth Wind & Fire’s legendary catalog. A new collaborative anthem brings together Dionne Warwick, Mya, and Saweetie in a soulful call for unity.
