The Beach Boys continue to face challenges with upcoming performances, as multiple concerts and a planned comeback tour were canceled due to health issues involving Mike Love and severe weather. Despite these setbacks, the band's legacy endures, highlighted by the 60th anniversary of their debut single and ongoing tributes to their foundational members, including the Wrecking Crew guitarist Al Jardine. Meanwhile, related acts like The Monkees and Belle and Sebastian are also commemorated for their contributions to the sunshine pop genre.
