Trip hop releases, week 36

This week in trip hop, new releases and reflections highlight a genre in constant evolution. From Tara Lily's introspective 'Break The Motion' to Moses Boyd's forthcoming 'Songs For Sinners' and the collaborative project Los Tres Mortales, artists continue to explore sonic depth and emotional resonance. Meanwhile, archival releases like the Boards of Canada tribute book and the full 2025 Alexandra Palace set from Four Tet underscore the enduring influence of past work. The genre's current momentum blends innovation with homage, as creators navigate both personal and professional transitions.
