West coast hip hop releases, week 39

This week in West Coast hip hop, new projects from Mars Kumari and Del the Funky Homosapien, as well as Trae The Truth and Mozzy, highlight the region's continued creative momentum. Tracks by Buddy and Suga Free for The Drop offer a nostalgic nod to the genre's roots, while Blueface's rising earnings underscore the commercial reach of current artists. Meanwhile, Beenie Man's return to the Billboard Rhythmic Airplay chart with a collaboration featuring Snoop Dogg marks a significant moment in cross-genre recognition. The emergence of AZ Chike's debut album, despite a leak and with endorsements from Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator, signals fresh energy in the underground scene.
