West coast hip hop releases, week 44

This week in West Coast hip hop, production begins on the sequel to Ice Cube's 'Last Friday,' marking a return to the franchise's signature humor and streetwise storytelling. Meanwhile, Hit-Boy introduces a new interactive music experience in Roblox, while YG releases a reflective project titled 'YG Confronts Himself.' Classic collaborations resurface with the re-release of 'Hit Em High' by B-Real, Coolio, Method Man, LL Cool J, and Busta Rhymes, and Snoop Dogg expands his 'Doggyland' universe through a new book previewing 'I Am Me.' In a nod to legacy and local culture, Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Burger opens a location at LAX with a special breakfast menu honoring his influence.
