Brigitte Fontaine is remembered by collaborators and peers such as Florent Marchet and Areski Belkacem, who highlighted her enduring presence and revolutionary spirit in French music. Belkacem's passing in 2025 marked the loss of a key figure associated with Fontaine's avant-garde work, underscoring her lasting influence on the cultural landscape.
