Chris Martin has been involved in multiple high-profile musical events, including a surprise street performance with a busker, a tribute concert honoring John Farnham alongside Celine Dion and Keith Urban, and a controversial halftime show at the FIFA World Cup that drew mixed reactions from critics like Robert Smith and Noel Gallagher. The performance also featured co-headliners Justin Bieber, Madonna, and BTS, and was preceded by the auction of unreleased Coldplay recordings and a Chris Martin James Bond demo. Meanwhile, Jay-Z responded to Kanye West's remarks about Martin, and comedian Lucy Beaumont offered a candid critique of Coldplay's music.
