Thomas Bangalter, half of the late electronic duo Daft Punk, has been involved in producing tracks for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, while also expressing disinterest in AI-generated music and reflecting on the challenges of scoring Tron: Legacy. Meanwhile, a tribute video inspired by Daft Punk's sound has been released by Midnight Generation, and concept sketches for the group's iconic robot helmets from 2005 have been shared. A 2026–27 world tour celebrating Daft Punk's legacy is also set to launch under the name Daft Funk Live.
