Ella Fitzgerald, originally aspiring to be a dancer, rose to prominence in jazz after a pivotal moment at the Tiffany Club where she performed alongside Marilyn Monroe. Her legacy continues through the annual free summer event, Scène Ella Fitzgerald in Geneva, celebrating its 30th anniversary with weekly concerts, and her 1964 cover of a Beatles song remains a notable moment in her career.
