Evanescence is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album The Open Door with a deluxe reissue and continuing their European Sanctuary World Tour, which includes a sold-out leg and a highly praised performance in Paris featuring guest appearances by Poppy and Nova Twins. The band, led by Amy Lee, has also announced their participation in the 2027 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO lineup and received a plaque for their successful European tour. Lee has reflected on how the pandemic influenced the creation of what she considers the band's strongest work.
