John Hollenbeck is featured in multiple recent musical projects, including a collaboration with Jeanie Bryson, Paul Yonemura, and Kenny Dorham, and an album titled Peace and Justice with the Hot Club Jazz Orchestra, released on Flexatonic in 2026. He also appears alongside Selma Savolainen, Marquis Hill, Sonia Spinello, and the Stargazers, and is part of a new ensemble with Anna Webber, Craig Taborn, Tomeka Reid, and Ches Smith, which debuts Helen Sung's big band project.
