He recently performed live with Lainey Wilson and paid tribute to Dolly Parton and Bob Weir, whose final performance with Dead & Company he described as an act of defiance. Mayer also joined Eric Clapton in a charity guitar collection and will participate in a tribute concert for Buddy Guy's 90th birthday.
