The New York Philharmonic, under the leadership of conductor Gustavo Dudamel, has been active in performances featuring Mahler's works and international tours, including a visit to Paris. Dudamel's tenure began with a season-opening concert featuring guest artists Joaquina, Lizzo, and St. Vincent, and the orchestra plans to honor Venezuela during the World Cup Final alongside the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.
