Nirosta Steel has gained sudden attention following a social media backlash and a statement addressing concerns, coinciding with his inclusion in major festival lineups such as Le Guess Who? 2025 and the Pitchfork Music Festival London 2026. His rise is linked to the rediscovery of his work through an obscure tape label and his collaboration with Arthur Russell, leading to the announcement of his album 'My Skyscraper' and upcoming New York concerts.
