Opeth, led by Mikael Åkerfeldt, continues to expand its creative reach through collaborations, including a new single and upcoming album with Japanese band Sigh, and a featured appearance on Crucial Velocity's latest track. The band is also preparing a special release for the 15th anniversary of their album Sorceress, while a reissue of their 2002 album Deliverance is set for release. Meanwhile, Opeth's 2026 UK performance was praised as a transcendent experience, and the group's upcoming 2027 concert in Anaheim will feature members from Mastodon, Overkill, and Armored Saint.
