William Shatner is releasing a heavy metal album featuring contributions from Tony Iommi and Brian May, following a performance at Riot Fest where he played covers of Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, and Motörhead. His debut in the genre, supported by a spoken word album titled Love & Other Mysteries, marks a new artistic direction, with plans for a 2027 Coachella appearance. Shatner describes the project as a creative reinterpretation of metal, blending his theatrical style with the genre's intensity.
