Acoustic rock releases, week 37

This week in acoustic rock, new developments include Cage The Elephant's release of 'Dying In Reverse,' Robert Plant and Saving Grace's digital debut of the 'All That Glitters...' EP, and the reissue of R.E.M.'s 'New Adventures in Hi-Fi' marking its 30th anniversary. Meanwhile, archival material from Oasis and Nirvana surfaces, with discussions around rare recordings, the legacy of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit,' and a reimagined version of 'Cold in Cold out' by SLUG COMPARISON. The genre also sees reflections on Elliott Smith through a new biography and insights into Primus’s creative approach to their fantastical album concept.
