Country releases, week 39

This week's country music landscape features a mix of chart-toppers, new releases, and notable returns. Ella Langley extends her reign at No. 1 with 'Choosin' Texas,' while Taylor Swift unveils new material under the 'The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore' project. Other highlights include Miley Cyrus's genre-evolving 'Bass Persuades,' Neil Young's 50th album, and the return of Dolly Parton in both film and live collaboration. Meanwhile, long-standing figures like Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan prepare for another season of 'American Idol,' and new voices such as Tucker Wetmore and Dylan Gossett continue to shape the genre's evolving sound.
