Doom metal releases, week 36

This week in doom metal, new albums from Chat Pile and Green Carnation take center stage, with the latter releasing the final chapter of its trilogy, A Dark Poem Part III: The Messiah Complex, in full. Other notable releases include Spiritus Mortis marking their 40th anniversary with No Human Contact, and HULDER unveiling their latest work, Verbolgen. Meanwhile, Tobias Forge steps back from Ghost, and Sleep’s Hempispheres continues to cast a long shadow over the genre’s heavier corners.
