Type O Negative continues to gain renewed attention through posthumous releases and digital rediscovery, with a live album set for early 2027 and their 1996 album October Rust marking its anniversary. The band's legacy is further highlighted by the success of 'I Don't Wanna Be Me,' which recently achieved gold certification in the U.S., while related projects like Silvertomb and Sun Don't Shine feature former members or collaborators. TikTok has played a key role in expanding the band's audience, contributing to a resurgence in interest despite their original era being decades past.
