Gothic rock releases, week 38

This week in gothic rock, new albums from Emma Ruth Rundle, Wellness, and the Turkish duo Ductape highlight a diverse range of emotional and sonic landscapes. The Keening announce their upcoming release Devotion, while archival moments spotlight Cocteau Twins’ Blue Bell Knoll and Heaven or Las Vegas on their respective anniversaries. Meanwhile, artists like Chelsea Wolfe and Some Days Are Darker reflect on obsession and existential weight, and tribute projects such as MONO INC.'s cover of Megaherz’s Herzblut underscore the genre’s enduring influence.
