New jack swing releases, week 41

This week's releases highlight a blend of nostalgic revivals and genre-crossing collaborations, with new music from Offset and Don Toliver drawing on classic R&B samples, while Young Thug signals a shift toward R&B with anticipated Drake features. Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 unveils special editions for artists including KATSEYE, Joji, and Noah Kahan, adding to the season's collector-focused momentum. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars and Drake continue their competitive spotlight, with Mars' latest project drawing attention amid fan-voted award buzz. The week also sees unexpected crossovers, such as Alanis Morissette’s holiday project featuring Brandi Carlile and Steve Martin, and Anthony Roth Costanzo’s exploration of Michael Jackson’s legacy.
