New jack swing releases, week 42

This week's new jack swing releases highlight a blend of nostalgic revisits and fresh collaborations. Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan team up on a remix of 'Expectations' featuring a video starring David Byrne, while Victoria Monét previews her upcoming album 'Frequency of Love' with noted work alongside Bruno Mars, SZA, and Chlöe. Meanwhile, D'Angelo's brother confirms a posthumous album is in progress, and Michael Jackson's 1993 Super Bowl performance is set for a documentary. KATSEYE adds a bonus track 'Unloveu' with a stark black-and-white visual, and Sophia Laforteza announces her return to the group in January 2027.
