Piano rock releases, week 37

This week in piano rock, Evanescence shares a new visual for 'Tell Me When You've Had Enough' and performs a rare live crossover with Poppy, while retrospectives highlight pivotal moments from artists like Ben Folds, Cat Power, and Elton John. The genre’s legacy is further explored through reflections on David Bowie’s influence, Rick Wakeman’s myth-inspired work, and Warren Zevon’s enduring songcraft. The Lumineers also revisit a lost track for Dualtone’s anniversary, underscoring the enduring resonance of piano-driven rock. These releases and anniversaries collectively trace the genre’s emotional depth and evolving identity.
