Overview
Recent developments in the trip hop genre include the reissue of Boards of Canada's 'Hi Scores' for its 30th anniversary and Gorillaz's re-releases of 'Demon Days', 'Plastic Beach', and their self-titled album on color vinyl and cassette. Meanwhile, Moby marked the 30th anniversary of 'Animal Rights' with renewed attention, and rare recordings from Moby, Eminem, and Depeche Mode entered auction. The genre's legacy is further highlighted by retrospective coverage of Tom Tom Club's 1981 work as a precursor to Gorillaz.
