Brenda Lee's musical legacy is being renewed with the upcoming release of her complete catalogue on streaming platforms, following notable milestones including her 1960 No. 1 hit with an English adaptation of an Italian festival song and her 1973 country album debut. Her recordings have also influenced later artists, including Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, who achieved a No. 1 album featuring a track originally recorded by Lee and Elvis Presley.
