The Everly Brothers, known for their influential vocal harmony, achieved a No. 1 hit in 1957 with a single recorded in just two days, a feat that underscored their impact on early rock and country music. Their legacy is further connected to songwriting partnerships that influenced artists like Roy Orbison, Sonny James, and Roy Clark. One half of the duo behind these hits passed away nearly four decades ago, marking a significant moment in music history.
