A posthumous album titled The Final Painting by Ed Askew has been announced, featuring collaborations with Bill Callahan and Sharon Van Etten, including the track 'Gray Air-o-Plane'. An exhibition titled 'Tough Guys' / 'Boy with a Hat' is also set to showcase his visual art alongside the release of his final musical work.
