Meshuggah is preparing for a 40th anniversary tour in North America in 2027, alongside the release of remastered anniversary editions of their albums 'Destroy Erase Improve' and 'Catch Thirtythree', and a reissue of 'Destroy Erase Improve' as part of a special series. The band also announced an exclusive 'Transformers' collaboration at San Diego Comic-Con, while past reflections highlight the impact of their 1995 debut and their influence on extreme metal. A conflicting report about a forthcoming pop-folk album appears to be inaccurate or satirical, as no official confirmation exists.
