Rival Sons are planning to enter the studio in January with an anticipated late 2027 release for their new album, aiming for a more raw and instinctual sound as noted by drummer Mike Miley. Meanwhile, guitarist Scott Holiday has launched his solo project HOL1D4Y, releasing the single 'Autonomatic', while frontman Jay Buchanan is touring the U.S. acoustically under the 'Storyteller' banner and has covered Black Sabbath's 'Changes'.
