Voivod has canceled their October 2026 U.S. tour due to a family health emergency involving drummer Michel 'Away' Langevin's brother, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The band is currently working on their long-awaited 'We Are Connected' documentary, aiming for a Christmas release, and recently reunited with former guitarist Eric Forrest during their summer 2026 European tour. Away has also spoken about the band's upcoming symphonic album, describing it as resembling a soundtrack for a dystopian sci-fi film.
