Type O Negative continues to gain renewed attention with the release of a lyric video for 'Brain Matter / No God' by Silvertomb, a project linked to the band's legacy. A live album is set for early 2027, and the band's 1996 album October Rust is being celebrated on its anniversary, while the single 'I Don't Wanna Be Me' recently achieved gold status in the U.S. Despite this resurgence, the band's frontman Peter Steele's struggles are noted as a turning point in their history.
